Beaver Buggy Rally

Hello Everyone, It’s Beaver Buggy time again! We will assemble, decorate and do a friendly in-house rally. The track will be set up inside the school. Sebastian Marwick, the North Shore Area Youth Commissioner, will be on hand to help show us how to get the most out of our Buggies. On Saturday Feb 11^th is the official Beaver Buggy Rally at Capilano Mall. Details below. Please organize amongst yourselves if you will be attending the Rally. This is a big deal for most groups. Pictures from last year’s Beaver Buggy Event can be seen here. It is also Bring a Friend night. If you bring a friend please make sure you tell Leslie so she can let Scout House know in order for you to receive your $5 Scout House Coupon. PLACE:                      Capilano Mall – by the Totems near WalMart entrance DATE:                        Saturday, February 11th, 2012 REGISTRATION:     10:30 am   EXHIBITION:           11:00 am ENTRY FEE:             $2.00   

• Entry fee — $2.00 for Beaver Buggies.
• Each Beaver may only enter one buggy.
• Each buggy is raced 3 times.
• A participant badge will be presented to all entrants.
• Buggies MUST have the Beaver’s name & group (ie: “1st West Van”) on the bottom.
• All Beavers and Leaders in attendance MUST be in full uniform.
• A leader or parent may enter a buggy for any Beaver who are unable to attend.
